The weather was good enough for Lois to take a drive by the house On Friday. Looks beautiful but cold.
Below is along Norman's Road. That's the road to the shore that Walter and Hazel used to have their cottage.
Looks like it snowed! There is a new roof under all of that snow. The scaffolding is staying up for when they replace the cedar shingles.
The old garage needs to hold on just a little while longer, and it looks like its now leaning to the west. Other than the roof is gone and the floors have rotted out, its not in too bad shape. That was meant to be funny. I think we have to remove it this summer. It's a safety hazard.
What a beautiful day
This is the view from McInnis Street behind the house, looking toward the dam and waterfall.
Looking at the house from McInnis Street
You can see through the trees to the far left of the house that a couple of the new windows are in. Mike McCarthy wrote me yesterday that all the windows are now installed. Next will be the shingles.
Thanks Lois for the great pictures!
