This is the home of our good friend Arnold Smith. He lives just outside of Hunter River on Smith Road. Arnold did about 10 years ago what I am doing now. He restored, renovated and expanded his family home. David and I toured it when we were on the Island in October. It is a beautiful place and although it looks like a pretty cold evening last night, the place seems cozy and inviting. What Arnold did for the house and his family is very inspirational. This photo makes me crave hot chocolate.
