Parging on the Foundation

One more big thing off the list. The parging is done on the foundation. It started out Island red, then turning pink and white as it dries, but I'm hoping that's a chemical reaction and it will go back a little more red again when it's perfectly dry. The weather there has been warm so that has been great for the drying process. Mike McCarthy is back today and is installing some trim inside, and getting some other little jobs done, like installing the new exterior door hardware, weatherstripping the doors, cutting the holes in the exterior walls for the rest of the lights, installing window sills, and maybe even installing the old china cabinet in the Butler's Pantry.

Thanks once again to Lois for keeping me up to speed. Looks good, and will look even better when the landscaping gets done.
