Mom and Dad emptied the storage unit in Montague this past week. It held everything that was in the house before the demo work last summer including all of the furniture and dishes. There was an old cabinet that was given to Mom and Dad by a neighbour in Springhill. They cleaned it up, Dad made new shelves for it, Mom painted it, and now it is towel storage in the bathroom. Fits really well, and allows them to unpack a little more. I hear all of the furniture is stacked in the Parlour and Dining Room. One step closer to getting settled.
They have also put quarter round at the base of the closets. This is the closet under the second storey stair. Just need to get the floor painted. I ordered the paint from Farrow and Ball for the floor, but they accidentally delivered it to my house here in Lincoln, instead of Murray River. I'll have to straighten that out Tuesday, as Monday is a holiday here. Always something to straighten out.
