After driving around downtown Murray River, and went and took a look at the new spillway. It looks pretty good, and once the trees and shrubs fill in, I think it will look great. Still, its different than it was and that is hard to accept. Everything changes.
I'm usually here in the summer when the trees are full, so it a a treat to be able to see the house for the first time from the dam!

I was wondering why they built those condos. It seems like people are moving away from Murray River. But there are a lot of retired golfers, making it an ideal location. Still, odd, considering Murray River is not growing by any stretch, and is far enough away from any town centre to make it inconvenient for those who do move into the condos, compared to some of the larger golf courses in the centre of the island. The people who live in Murray River now live there because they've been there (or in the local area) their whole lives.
